He just came in, checked my teeth, and told me I need a $5000 procedure that is not covered by insurance and then walked out of the room. All they care about is money! Find someplace else to go. Posted On: 08/31/2023 This place is literally the worst. All they care about is making money out of pocket. No patient care is shown whatsoever. They don’t care if you’re in pain, they just want you to sign up for payment plans after listing all the things wrong with your teeth. Gum disease, implants, crown, root canals… they want me to do all of that and pay out of pocket (almost $25,000). No one even checked if my insurance will cover anything. They know right off hand, nothing will be covered.
Apparently, not even an extraction is covered by my insurance for their clinic. I’ve had an extraction done with the same insurance at another place, fully covered. They want me to pay almost $3500 out of pocket for a single tooth extraction. I asked the dentist just to prescribe me some kind of medication for my tooth pain since I cannot afford to pay out of pocket for all the procedures they said I needed. He looked at me and responded with “ask someone in the front.” The office is more of a marketing company, trying to get you to finance with them for treatments and procedures. When I told the dentist I cannot do the financing because I wouldn’t be able to afford it, he responded with “well you don’t want to take care of yourself,” like he is mad I didn’t fill the financing forms.
When you refuse to do what they recommend, they start to treat you differently.
I cannot comprehend how another human being can see someone in pain, but only think about how much money they can make from them. They’re not trying to help patients. They’re trying to make the most money they can from the patients.
If I could have left a zero star review I would have.
Please do not go to this place if you’re in immense pain. Call your insurance and ask what they cover and find a place that really cares about their patients.

Also, I’ve read some of the other reviews, and they do not comply with HIPAA because they’re responding to reviews saying things that is supposed to be confidential between the patient and their doctor.
Lincoln Family Dental, stop defending your clinic and dissuade the patient’s review. Maybe you guys should try working on your patient care, review your HIPAA guidelines, and train your employees better.

I love that they hire young people shows they care about the younger generation seeking professions in the medical field. Front desk always polite. Posted On: 08/10/2023 I've been a patient here for almost two years and every single time I have a scheduled appointment, I have to sit and wait for hours LITERALLY to be attended to. It's absolutely ridiculous and unethical. In response to having to wait such lengthy periods, staff always say 'we had alot of emergencies.' I'm now posting this review because I'm left in a state of shock after having an appointment yesterday 8/9/2023 at 6:30 PM. The hygienist came who was very unprofessional and started proceeding with 'cleaning'. He started at exactly 7:30 PM and concluded at 7:35 PM. Yes, that's correct 5 minimal minutes for a dental cleaning. I mean this isn't my field of work but I'm 100% sure that a proper and effective dental cleaning should take way more than 5 minutes. With immediate action, I'm contacting my insurance to have this office removed as my Dental Care Provider. If you're looking for efficient service, this is not the place to go. Nicolas R

Posted On: 08/02/2023 I would love to give a review for Rockaway dental clinic. I have been going there football almost a year now and from the time that started going to the staff have always greeted me especially the black guy. I don’t know his name but he has dreads he’s so sweet and most of all who made my visit everything is Dr. Lame when I tell you he is the sweetest dentist that I have ever came across. He makes you feel comfortable. He tells you everything he’s going to do before he do it he also let you know before he start. If whatever he’s going to do is gonna make you feel uneasy he just don’t let you be blindsided. If you decide to go to distances, please request him to be a dentist I promise you he won’t let you down. He’s very good at what he do. And very easy to talk to. Jasmine F
